I could use prayer
If you have something that you would like us to be praying for, please tell us in this form. If you would like us to follow-up with you, let us know.
I don't know what to pray?
There are many different kinds of prayer. Prayer is not just about trying to get God to do something for us. It is really about joining God in what he is already doing.
A great starting point for prayer is the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples.
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
Matthew 6:9-13
As you pray, consider how you can:
Worship God
Submit to his will
Trust his provision
Ask for forgiveness
Forgive others
Be protected from the enemy
We can also pray and ask God to use us for his mission. Below is an example of a comissioning prayer:
"Holy Spirit, I trust you. Empower me to share the hope of Jesus today. Open my eyes to see the needs around me. Open my ears to hear what people are saying. Open my mouth to speak your truth."
Every Sunday we conclude our gatherings by reciting the Priestly Blessing. This is a prayer you can pray over your friends and family every day as well.
“The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace.â€
(Numbers 6:24-26)
