Jason Deuman
Lead Pastor
I lead the pastoral staff, and oversee Sunday teaching and the vision of the Church. Helping people better understand God's word and how we can build our lives around Jesus' teaching is one of my passions. I have been on staff at Creekside since 2005, and Lead Pastor since 2015. I am married to my High school sweetheart Kathy, and we have two wonderful kids, Judah and Jocelyn.
Shannon Baker
Executive Pastor
As the Executive Pastor, I oversee the finances and facilities as well as counseling connections to help resource those looking for help mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. I am passionate about helping people find freedom through healing in Jesus. My husband, Joshua Baker, and I enjoy playing board games, walking around Edmonds and are blessed to get to do ministry together.
Byron Newby
Care Pastor
As Care Pastor, my passion is to minister to the people in our church and our community who are going through difficult times in life: the hospitalized, the elderly, the imprisoned, the shut-ins, etc. As an important part of this, I am always developing a Care Team of likeminded people to partner with me to go to people who can’t come to church. We worship, study the Bible, and pray with them in a loving way.
Joshua Baker
Youth Pastor
I have the privilege of helping middle school and high school students develop their faith in Jesus. I also oversee tech teams at Creekside where I get to build teams and solve problems. My wife Shannon and I love board games.
Ryan Skolrud
Worship and Connections Pastor
I have the honor of leading our church in worship on Sundays through music. I enjoy teaching and proclaiming the Gospel through song. I am also involved with getting people connected with others in the church through community groups so that we may grow in Christ together. My wife Emily also serves on Sunday, singing with the worship band. We have three wonderful children. As a family, we enjoy listening to movie soundtracks, watching Seattle sports, and eating dinners around the bonfire in our backyard.
