Tyler Shores

Lead Pastor

I have spent over a decade in ministry, and hold a Master’s degree in theology and ethics and teach as an adjunct professor for the College of Ministry at Northwest University.
My passion for ministry began early. I gave my life to Jesus as a child, but a transformative encounter at a youth camp solidified my call to serve the church. That calling led me to Lee University, where I met my wife, Jamie. For the past 12 and a half years, we have pursued our calling together, serving the church in a variety of ways. Beyond ministry, I enjoy music and movies, hiking and camping, playing basketball, and watching baseball.

Shannon Baker

Executive Pastor

As the Executive Pastor, I oversee the finances and facilities as well as counseling connections to help resource those looking for help mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. I am passionate about helping people find freedom through healing in Jesus. I have been on staff since 2011; my husband, Joshua Baker, and I are blessed to get to do ministry together. We have 1 daughter, Ellie, who is a blessing and gift from the Lord and we are loving toddlerhood.

Byron Newby

Care Pastor

As Care Pastor, my passion is to minister to the people in our church and our community who are going through difficult times in life: the hospitalized, the elderly, the imprisoned, the shut-ins, etc.  As an important part of this, I am always developing a Care Team of likeminded people to partner with me to go to people who can’t come to church.  We worship, study the Bible, and pray with them in a loving way.

Joshua Baker

Youth Pastor

I have the privilege of helping middle school and high school students develop their faith in Jesus.  I also oversee tech teams as well as First Impressions at Creekside where I get to build teams and solve problems. My wife Shannon and I love spending time with our daughter and the joy she brings to our lives.

Worship Director
I’m excited to be leading worship at Creekside Church.  My whole life has been devoted to music, starting with my first solo in first grade.  When I started my journey with Christ, my two passions collided, and I can’t think of a better way to honor the Lord than through music.  I’ve been married to my husband Michael for 22+ years.  Together we have 3 grown children and 6 amazing grandchildren.

Kids' Ministry Director

Takeshi oversees Kids Ministry, including scheduling, planning, and teaching. He has been married to Kelly for over 22 years, and they have three wonderful kids, Kai, Noah, and Emmi.
