Helping people discover, trust, and love Jesus Christ.

2020 Christmas Missions Offering

The Christmas Season is time that reminds us that Jesus was sent to rescue us from slavery to sin. Jesus was the first missionary, and as followers of Jesus we are all called to carry out that mission, and support others in that mission. Every Christmas, Creekside intentionally focuses on generosity and supporting missionaries and organizations that are meeting physical and spiritual needs.  This year is no different. Below you will learn about some of the different organizations that we are partnering with, you can read about our projects, and you can pledge to support one or all of these different projects.

Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 to give away to our partners.

We ask that you pray about how the Lord Jesus would have you participate this year. The Christmas Missions Offering is a gift above and beyond our regular tithes and offerings. So please don't pray, "What can I afford?" When you pray ask Jesus, "What would you have me do?" As you pray believe that he will make it possible for you to meet these goals. You can start giving towards your pledge right away, and we will be receiving offerings through March 2021. If you have any questions, please email Pastor Jason.

You can use this form to make your pledge.

Ministry Training Center in Germany - $10,000

The Koeshall's are preparing to return to Heidelberg, Germany. Their ministry has been focused on reaching university students. Germany is a country with a rich Christian heritage. However, most Germans  have a post-Christian worldview. This year we are partnering with the Koeshall's and Assemblies of God World Missions to build a training center to equip and train church planters and pastors to help the German people discover, trust, and love Jesus.

Creekside is also serving as their parent church, and we are committed to join their monthly support team as new missionaries. You can follow the Coppock's and learn more about their vision here:

Neighborhood Tables - $20,000

Our Neighborhood Tables have been able to serve hot meals to our community in Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood. We take time to pray for our guests and encourage them with the hope of Jesus. This year we have served over 5,000 meals. This is possible because of the generosity of the people of Creekside.

There are hundreds to students in the Edmonds School District who are either homeless, or do not have reliable food at home. Nourishing Network helps provide meals for these young people and their families throughout the week, and over the weekend.

RIP Medical Debt - $10,000

Medical Debt can significantly impact families and individuals for years. These debts are most often things that were beyond the control of the people who needed medical services. We are excited to partner with this year. Our campaign will be focusing on helping families in our region find freedom from the debts. We are asking you to give towards this initiative in our CMO and our Elder Team is also committing to give $5,000. This combined $15,000 can pay off about $1.2 million. People who have their debt paid off will also receive a letter sharing that our church was able to help them find financial freedom.
